EsySport beta-testers wanted for sport-tracking

In the final development, testers are required to check functionality of the new features.

"EsySport is a complete tracking of sportsactivities. "Our solution gives the users what they need to track and optimize training, healthrelated issues and equipment-testing."

Elmer Systems delivers order management system to be used with DSB Retail order handling

Greve Strand, Danmark, 2005-03-22 - Elmer Systems, en ledende leverandør af workflow kunde- og salgssystemer (CRM) har i dag lanceret Elmer Systems CRM Mobile/3, verdens første skræddersyede mobile CRM-system til det mobile 3G-netværk.

Hans Elmer, stifter og direktør af Elmer Systems udtaler: "de nye 3G-netværk har åbnet helt nye konkurrencemæssige muligheder for virksomhederne. Med Elmer Systems Mobile/3 kan brugerne nu udnytte tiden mere effektivt og holde sig selv og virksomheden konstant opdateret. Unik situation for Danmark
Danmark er relativt langt fremme med udbredelsen af 3G-netværk og den nyeste 3G-teknologi. Feks er Danmark foran Tyskland i udbredelsen af 3G-netværkene og i lanceringen af de mest avancerede mobiltelefoner. På den nyligt afholdte CeBit-messe i Hannover - verdens største IT-messe - kunne de førende netoperatører (feks Vodafone), således først introducere modeller, som igennem længere tid har været tilgængelige i Danmark. Danske virksomheder har derfor en god mulighed for at opnå en konkurrencemæssig fordel og intern effektivisering.

Live opdateret med MLOS
Det har længe været muligt at koble sig op til virksomhedernes systemer via mobiltelefoner - men det unikke i Elmer Systems Mobile/3 er at alt data gemmes i virksomheden og derfor altid er opdateret og tilgængelig for andre brugere. Løsningen er uafhængig af mobiltelefon og kræver ingen softwareinstallationer på mobiltelefonen/PDA'en. Alt foregår MLOS - hvilket står for Mobile Live On Server. Løsningen har derfor høj sikkerhed og er samtidigt hurtig at implementere.

God økonomi
Elmer Systems Mobile/3 er integreret i Elmer Systems CRM, som er et førende multi-sprogs salgs/CRM-system. "Selv mindre virksomheder med et par ansatte har fået implementeret Mobile/3-løsningen" udtaler Hans Elmer og fortsætter "Det viste sig samtidigt, at det var billigere end at etablere hjemmearbejdspladser for brugerne". Løsningen kræver blot en ADSL-forbindelse i virksomheden. Data-trafikken er samtidigt blevet billigere, således at man hos de førende udbydere af 3G for tiden oplever priser ned til 0,62 kr. pr MB.

EDGE, 3G, Super 3G/HSDPA
De nuværende 3G-net kan bære op til 384 kbit/s, hvilket svarer til dobbelt ISDN-hastighed. Inden nytår forventes det nye Super 3G-net (HSDPA) at kunne bære hele 2 Mbit/s, hvilket svarer til det mobile bredbåndsinternetmarked. Sammensmeltningen af IT og tele/mobile løsninger vil dermed fortsætte.

Motorola og 3
Elmer Systems startede med udviklingen af løsningen allerede i sommer 2004. "Vi blev overraskede, da vi opdagede mulighederne med de nye 3G mobiltelefoner fra 3 - især topmodellerne fra Motorola" udtaler Hans Elmer. "Vi startede straks med udviklingen af løsningen for at være de første på markedet med en fuldt integreret løsning." Løsningen blev færdig i november og nye og eksisterende kunder har i de forløbne måneder kunnet anvende og teste løsningen.
